Become a Volunteer
What do you get when you volunteer for the Belmar Historical Society? It is something as fragile as it is powerful, much like a postcard from the turn of the century filled with forgotten information.
We are a nonprofit organization run by volunteers dedicated to maintaining and protecting Belmar's past as well as making it available for all to see. Volunteers are needed to give tours, fulfill research requests, and follow the regimented process of preserving precious records and delicate items. If you are a history buff or just love Belmar, this is the place for you!

Item donations:
If you have memorabilia you'd like to find a good home for, we will carefully research, preserve, and display it in our museum.
If you are in possession of photos and newspaper clippings that you wish to share but not donate, we may have them professionally copied and expediently returned to you. To discuss, visit the museum during open hours or email us at info@belmarhistoricalsociety.org.
